Terms of Service

Welcome to SpillSnap. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SpillSnap apps, website and services (together, the "Service"), operated from Malaysia. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use SpillSnap only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using SpillSnap you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to agree to these Terms (or have your parent or guardian's consent to do so).

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that are used unlawfully.

3. Using the Service

SpillSnap lets you capture receipts, extract their details automatically, and organise your spending. You agree not to misuse the Service, including by uploading unlawful content, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, or using it to infringe anyone's rights.

4. Receipt data and accuracy

SpillSnap uses automated optical character recognition and AI to read receipts. These results may contain errors. You remain responsible for verifying any figures before relying on them, including for tax, accounting or reimbursement purposes. SpillSnap is not a substitute for professional tax or financial advice.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Free trials, prices and billing cycles are shown at the point of purchase. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include SST where applicable.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and branding, belongs to SpillSnap and its licensors. You keep ownership of the receipts and data you upload, and you grant us the limited rights needed to operate and improve the Service for you.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, though some provisions survive (such as those on liability and intellectual property).

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpillSnap is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from inaccurate receipt extraction or reliance on data in the Service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
